Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work full-time shifts including weekends
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to vehicle inspections and transportation
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience driving automatic and standard transmission vehicles
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of vehicle safety and inspection procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and traffic rules
Job Duties
- Drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles
- Work in all weather conditions including rain and snow
- Transport new vehicles on public roads between yard compounds
- Maintain strong focus on safety and alertness
- Drive a variety of car models
- Perform vehicle inspections prior to transport to note and report damage
- Alert Van Lead of any damages and unusual or recurring faults
- Manage all VASCOR-assigned equipment including in-transit plates and placards
- Adhere to all traffic laws and speed limits
- Follow safety recommendations within VASCOR storage yards
- Report vehicles low on gas, flat tires, or dead batteries
