Job Requirements
- no commercial drivers license needed
- be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- have a valid driver's license
- possess a social security number (only in the US)
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- use any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities) for deliveries
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver's license
- reliable access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle
- basic smartphone proficiency
- ability to lift and carry delivery items
- strong time management skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- deliver food orders to customers accurately and promptly
- pick up food, groceries, and retail items from local stores and restaurants
- use the DoorDash app to accept and manage delivery requests
- maintain communication with customers and support staff to ensure delivery success
- manage cashless payments and instant cash out via the DoorDash Crimson deposit system
- follow all safety and traffic laws while driving or biking
- provide excellent customer service and represent DoorDash brand positively
