- No commercial drivers license required
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to pass background and ID verification processes
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Access to a smartphone compatible with the DoorDash Dasher app
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- Deliver orders promptly to customers
- Manage delivery schedules flexibly
- Communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- Use the DoorDash app to accept and track deliveries
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries
- Handle food and merchandise with care
