Job Requirements
- No commercial drivers license needed
- Must be 18 years or older (21 years to deliver alcohol)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Valid driver's license
- Social security number (for US residents)
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Ability to pass background check and ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with using smartphone applications for navigation and communication
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with local streets and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to handle packages and make deliveries
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Manage orders through the DoorDash Dasher app
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication
- Handle payments and cash out earnings promptly
- Follow traffic and safety regulations when delivering
- Provide feedback to DoorDash to improve service quality
