Job Requirements
- No commercial driver's license needed
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Must have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver's license number
- Social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass background and ID verification
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with local geography and delivery areas
- Basic smartphone proficiency
- Good communication skills
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to handle physical activity involving lifting and carrying orders
- Prior delivery experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver food and retail orders accurately and on time
- Pick up orders from assigned restaurants or stores
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage real-time delivery requests
- Communicate effectively with customers for delivery instructions
- Handle transactions and cash out earnings using the DoorDash Crimson account
- Maintain vehicle or transportation mode in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while delivering
