- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- valid driver’s license number
- no commercial driver’s license needed
- access to a smartphone
- social security number (for US residents)
- ability to pass background check and ID verification
- reliable transportation (car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities)
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- familiarity with local area and traffic patterns a plus
- ability to use smartphone technology effectively
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- reliable and punctual
- physically able to handle packages and travel distances by car, scooter, or bicycle
Job Duties
- pick up food, grocery, or retail orders from merchants
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- maintain excellent customer service and communication
- use the DoorDash Dasher app for order management and navigation
- handle payments and cash out earnings via the app
- follow local traffic and delivery regulations
- ensure personal safety and order quality during deliveries
