Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have a social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- No commercial driver’s license required
- Have a vehicle including car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycle applicable in select cities)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps for navigation and communication
- Ability to safely operate a car, scooter, or bicycle
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Pick up meals from restaurants and deliver them to customers
- Pick up groceries and retail orders and deliver them promptly
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and accept delivery requests
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while delivering
- Maintain communication with customers and support if issues arise
- Manage flexible working hours and dynamically choose work times
