Job Requirements
- No commercial driver’s license (CDL) needed
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ for alcohol deliveries)
- Access to a car, scooter or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Completion of background check and ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in delivery or customer service is beneficial
- Familiarity with local geography and navigation
- Ability to use smartphone applications effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores or retail locations
- Deliver orders promptly and safely to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and manage delivery requests
- Maintain communication with customers as needed
- Ensure the accuracy and condition of orders upon delivery
- Manage your schedule to maximize earning opportunities
- Follow traffic and safety regulations while driving or biking
