Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have a valid driver’s license number
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Possess a social security number if applying in the US
- Have a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities) available for deliveries
- No commercial driver’s license needed
- Complete successful ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic problem-solving ability
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail partners
- Deliver orders accurately and promptly to customers
- Navigate efficiently using the DoorDash Dasher app
- Maintain communication with customers and support team for any delivery issues
- Handle orders and deliveries with care to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to safety guidelines and local traffic laws
- Manage earnings and payments through the DoorDash Crimson Debit Card
