Job Requirements
- No CDL or commercial drivers license needed
- Must be 18 years or older (21 years or older to deliver alcohol)
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Successful completion of ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with smartphone apps and navigation tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift and carry orders
- Knowledge of local area and traffic regulations
Job Duties
- Deliver food, groceries, and retail orders to customers
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support as needed
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and navigate orders
- Ensure timely and professional delivery service
- Manage pickup and drop-off logistics efficiently
- Handle cash-out promptly using the DoorDash payment system
- Adhere to safety and local traffic laws while on the road
