Job Requirements

no commercial driver’s license (CDL) needed
18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
valid driver’s license number
social security number (US only)
consistent access to a smartphone

Job Qualifications

valid driver’s license or state identification if delivering by bicycle
at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
ability to use a smartphone consistently
familiarity with the local delivery area
good communication skills
customer service orientation

Job Duties

accept delivery requests through the app
pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail locations
deliver items promptly and accurately to customers
maintain communication with customers regarding delivery status
manage own schedule and choose working hours
ensure safe handling and transportation of orders
use the DoorDash app for navigation and delivery tracking
