Job Requirements
- No CDL or commercial drivers license needed
- 18 years or older (21 plus to deliver alcohol)
- own any car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- valid driver's license number
- social security number (US only)
- consistent access to a smartphone
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use a smartphone and operate delivery app
- excellent time management skills
- customer service experience is beneficial
- familiarity with local geography
- dependable and self-motivated
- basic knowledge of vehicle or bike maintenance
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retailers
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- manage order receipts and ensure proper handling
- utilize the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and track delivery requests
- follow all local traffic and delivery regulations
- maintain customer service standards during deliveries
- handle payments and cash out through the app
