Job Requirements
- 18 or older
- no CDL or commercial drivers license needed
- valid driver's license number
- social security number (US only)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver's license or state ID
- ability to use a smartphone and technology apps
- good communication and customer service skills
- reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants and stores
- deliver food and convenience items to customers
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage orders and navigate routes
- provide courteous and professional customer service
- handle payments and cash out through the DoorDash payment system
- follow all traffic and safety regulations
- maintain communication with DoorDash support when necessary
