Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have consistent access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (only in the US)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Subject to eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to use smartphone technology effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with local neighborhoods and stores
- Basic math skills for handling transactions with Red Card
- Previous delivery or shopping experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Shop for and deliver groceries, convenience items, retail products, and alcohol
- Manage time effectively to work during off-peak hours
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and complete orders
- Activate and use the DoorDash Red Card for purchases
- Communicate with customers and support to ensure satisfaction
- Follow delivery instructions and company guidelines
- Maintain a valid driver's license and comply with local regulations
