Job Requirements
- 18 plus years old (21 plus to deliver alcohol)
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Valid driver's license number
- Social security number (for US residents)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to activate and use the DoorDash Red Card for purchases
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail or grocery shopping beneficial
- Familiarity with smartphone apps and navigation tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if delivering by car)
- Ability to lift and carry packages and groceries safely
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries and other retail items accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service
- Manage inventory and ensure all items on customer orders are correctly picked
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to update the status of deliveries and communicate with customers
- Handle payments using the prepaid Red Card for order purchases
- Follow safety and health guidelines to ensure customer and personal safety
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any issues or concerns during deliveries
