Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (in the US only)
- Have consistent and reliable access to a smartphone
Job Qualifications
- Must have a smartphone compatible with the DoorDash Dasher app
- Valid driver’s license for motor vehicle operators
- Ability to use GPS and mobile applications effectively
- Efficient and customer service-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from assigned restaurants and stores
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Maintain communication with customers when necessary
- Ensure the safe handling and transport of all items during delivery
- Manage cash out and payment processes through the app
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and DoorDash policies while driving or delivering
