Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be 21 years or older for alcohol deliveries
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to complete the sign-up and onboarding process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or retail shopping experience is a plus
- Familiarity with local area and traffic patterns
- Ability to use smartphone apps effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to carry groceries and other items safely
- Basic knowledge of handling alcohol deliveries in compliance with legal age restrictions
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries, convenience, retail, and alcohol orders
- Deliver purchased items to customers promptly
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage orders and deliveries
- Activate and use the Red Card prepaid card for purchases
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently
- Track and report deliveries through the app
