Job Requirements
- 18 or older
- 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number (for US residents)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- have any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- ability to pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior shopping or delivery experience is a plus but not required
- ability to navigate using a smartphone and mobile applications
- good communication skills
- reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle where applicable
- ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Job Duties
- Shop for ordered items accurately and efficiently
- deliver groceries, convenience items, retail products, and alcohol to customers following safety guidelines
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and track orders
- activate and use the Red Card for purchases on shopping deliveries
- provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers as needed
- manage time effectively to maximize earnings and complete deliveries promptly
- maintain knowledge of local stores and product locations to improve shopping speed
