Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- valid driver’s license
- social security number for US deliverers
- consistent access to a smartphone
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience a plus
- basic knowledge of local geography
- familiarity with using smartphone apps effectively
- good communication skills
- ability to lift and carry packages
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders to customers promptly and accurately
- use the DoorDash app to navigate and manage deliveries
- handle food and retail items carefully to ensure quality
- provide excellent customer service
- manage and track earnings through the app
- comply with all local traffic laws and DoorDash policies
