Job Requirements
- 18+ years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide social security number (in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass background and eligibility checks as required
- Ability to use the DoorDash Dasher app and Red Card
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or delivery experience beneficial but not required
- Ability to use smartphone and navigate apps
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment
- Good physical stamina for shopping and deliveries
- Basic knowledge of local area and traffic patterns
Job Duties
- Pick up items from stores accurately and efficiently
- Shop for groceries, convenience, retail, and alcohol products as per customer order
- Deliver orders promptly to customers while maintaining good customer service
- Manage Red Card payments securely for purchases
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS and app tools
- Communicate with customers and support teams when necessary
- Ensure orders are complete and handle any issues during shopping or delivery
