Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a reliable vehicle, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to activate and use the DoorDash Red Card
- Pass background screening as required
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret order details accurately
- Familiarity with local stores and grocery items
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone and delivery app
- Basic knowledge of local traffic laws and delivery routes
- Ability to lift and carry grocery bags or packages
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 to deliver alcohol)
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries, retail, convenience, and alcohol items as per customer orders
- Deliver purchased items to customers promptly and accurately
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and manage orders
- Activate and use the DoorDash Red Card for payments when shopping
- Navigate efficiently to customer locations ensuring timely deliveries
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order status
- Follow all safety and quality standards during shopping and delivery
