Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Must be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver's license number
- Social security number for US-based Dashers
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Successfully pass ID verification process
- Ability to lift and carry orders safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in delivery or customer service preferred but not required
- Ability to navigate using GPS and mobile apps
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and punctual with good time management
- Familiarity with local area and traffic patterns beneficial
Job Duties
- Pick up customers' orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Ensure proper handling and care of food items during delivery
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and track deliveries
- Communicate with customers and support if issues arise
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations while on delivery
- Cash out earnings through the app efficiently
