Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide a social security number if applying in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Consent to background checks as per company policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in delivery or customer service is advantageous but not required
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps proficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with local area or navigation apps
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Pick up groceries and other retail items from stores for customers
- Deliver last-minute convenience orders efficiently
- Manage payments using the DoorDash Red Card securely
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure order accuracy and satisfaction
- Work independently while making timely deliveries
- Use the DoorDash app to accept delivery offers and navigate routes
- Adhere to local laws and DoorDash policies regarding delivery and alcohol sales
