Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol in specific states
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Social security number (for US-based applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to complete sign-up and background check as required
- Eligibility to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or retail experience a plus
- Familiarity with local neighborhoods and navigation apps
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps
- Basic knowledge of product handling and safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Pick up grocery and retail orders accurately
- Deliver items promptly to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage orders and navigate routes
- Communicate effectively with customers and support when necessary
- Activate and use the Red Card for purchases
- Maintain safety and quality standards during shopping and delivery
- Manage time efficiently to maximize earnings
