Job Requirements
- 18 years or older (19 years or older in select states)
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number for U.S.-based Dashers
- access to a smartphone
- ability to work independently
- vehicle such as car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycle available in select cities)
- successful completion of ID verification process
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older (21 years or older to deliver alcohol)
- possession of a valid driver’s license for motorized vehicles
- ability to use a smartphone consistently
- ability to communicate effectively with customers
- familiarity with local geography or use of GPS technology
- basic knowledge of food safety and handling
Job Duties
- pick up food, groceries, or retail orders from merchants
- deliver orders to customers accurately and promptly
- communicate with customers and support team when needed
- follow all local traffic and safety laws while dashing
- handle payments and cash out using the DoorDash app
- maintain a healthy and safe delivery environment
- manage flexible working hours according to personal schedule
