Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number if delivering in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass background and ID verification as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle safely
- Familiarity with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Job Duties
- Deliver food orders to customers efficiently and safely
- Pick up groceries and retail items from stores and deliver them promptly
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Maintain communication with customers and support staff as needed
- Ensure accuracy of orders during pickup and delivery
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving or biking
- Manage earnings and cash out via the DoorDash platform
