Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (for US applicants only)
- Maintain consistent access to a smartphone
- Use any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Be 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Subject to eligibility and successful ID verification
- Meet state-specific age requirements
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate using GPS
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of local area and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift and carry items safely
- Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from local restaurants and stores
- Deliver food, groceries, and retail items to customers promptly and safely
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries and navigate routes
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and merchants
- Maintain order accuracy and handle items with care
- Manage earnings and cash out through the app
- Comply with all local traffic laws and DoorDash guidelines
