- 18+ years old (must be 19+ in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia)
- Must have a valid driver's license number
- Must provide a Social Security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycle delivery available in select cities)
- Successful completion of ID verification
- Eligibility to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 or older in select states) to comply with local regulations
- Must possess a valid driver's license if delivering by car
- Ability to use a smartphone consistently
- Must be able to navigate local areas efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and support teams
- Must have access to a reliable mode of transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Basic understanding of safe driving or riding practices
Job Duties
- Pick up meals, groceries, or retail orders from local merchants
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and safely
- Manage delivery schedule flexibly based on personal availability
- Use the DoorDash app to accept delivery requests and navigate to pickup and drop-off locations
- Communicate effectively with customers and support if needed
- Handle cashless transactions through the app
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the delivery process
