Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- possess a valid driver’s license
- have a social security number (for U.S. Dashers)
- own a vehicle or scooter or bicycle (bicycle allowed in select cities)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- pass ID verification and background check
- comply with all local and state regulations regarding delivery services
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- ability to use smartphone apps proficiently
- reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- good communication and customer interaction skills
- basic knowledge of local geography to optimize delivery routes
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or convenience outlets
- deliver orders promptly to customers
- utilize the DoorDash Dasher app for navigation and order management
- maintain communication with customers and support if needed
- manage your own schedule and availability
- ensure the safe handling and transportation of orders
- cash out earnings through the DoorDash Crimson account
