Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (must be 21+ in certain states to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number if applying in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Complete a successful ID verification
- Meet any additional eligibility criteria per state laws
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol in certain states)
- Valid driver’s license or equivalent for bicycle/scooter
- Reliable access to a smartphone
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods preferred
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from designated restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and accurately
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries and routes
- Maintain communication with customers and support teams as needed
- Handle food and goods carefully to ensure quality upon delivery
- Manage cash out and payment processes through the app
- Comply with traffic and safety regulations while on duty
