Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is a plus
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
Job Duties
- facilitates excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment
- keeps bartenders and supervisors informed about stock levels, spills, and equipment issues
- replenishes bar supplies, prepares garnishes, and maintains ice levels
- maintains a positive attitude and anticipates bartenders' needs during peak times
- assists with guest inquiries and maintains the bar area
- retrieves ingredients, glassware, and supplies efficiently
- collects empty drinkware and keeps the bar organized
- alerts bartenders or managers to guest concerns
- adheres to responsible alcohol service policies
- stocks and organizes bar inventory
- assists with inventory counts
- checks and replenishes bar supplies before, during, and after service
- maintains cleanliness of bar area
- supports other team members
- maintains positive working relationships
- meets legal age requirements for handling alcohol
