Job Requirements
- Be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous manner during busy periods
- Be available to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Understand and effectively communicate instructions
- Be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of scheduled shifts
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements for alcohol service
- Comply with all company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or bar service environment is beneficial
- Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of bar operations and safety standards advantageous
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude during busy periods
Job Duties
- Play a key role in facilitating excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment
- Keep the bartender and supervisor informed of low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions
- Provide efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining ice levels
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders during peak service times
- Assist with guest inquiries by communicating information to bartenders and ensuring a well-maintained bar area
- Support bartenders by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and necessary items
- Collect empty drinkware and keep the bar area organized and presentable
- Alert bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns at the bar
- Adhere to all company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
- Stock and organize bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and garnishes
- Assist with periodic inventory counts
- Check and replenish bar supplies before, during, and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire bar service area
- Provide support to other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol
