Job Requirements
- be at least the minimum legal age for serving or handling alcoholic beverages in your location
- be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during busy periods
- be able to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
- be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- be able to stand and walk for entire shifts
- be able to repeatedly reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe surfaces
- be able to thrive in a noisy, dynamic environment
- be able to understand and communicate instructions clearly
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a bar or restaurant environment is a plus
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies and safety regulations
Job Duties
- plays a key role in facilitating excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment
- keeps bartenders and supervisors informed of low stock, spills, or equipment issues, taking action or suggesting solutions
- promptly replenishes bar supplies, prepares garnishes, and maintains ice levels
- maintains a positive and helpful attitude supporting bartenders during peak times
- assists with guest inquiries by communicating with bartenders and ensuring a well-maintained bar area
- retrieves ingredients, glassware, and items for bartenders quickly and efficiently
- collects empty drinkware and keeps the bar area organized and presentable throughout service
