Job Requirements
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner even during busy periods
- be available to work flexible schedules including days evenings and or weekends as required
- thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- be able to lift and carry items such as beverage cases ice containers and bus tubs weighing up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently within the bar service area and stand for extended periods of time
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their scheduled shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred, previous experience in bar service or hospitality is a plus, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, strong multitasking and organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, basic knowledge of bar stock and beverage preparation preferred, ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- play a key role in facilitating excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, keep bartender and immediate supervisor informed of any low stock levels spills or equipment malfunctions, provide efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies preparing garnishes and ensuring ice levels are maintained, maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting bartenders and anticipating their needs during peak service times, assist with guest inquiries by communicating information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and organized, support the bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients glassware and other necessary items, ensure that empty drinkware is collected and the bar area remains organized and presentable throughout service, alert the bartender or manager to any guest issues or concerns observed at the bar, adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations, be responsible for stocking and organizing all bar-related inventory including liquor beer wine mixers glassware and garnishes in designated storage locations, assist with periodic inventory counts of bar stock as needed, check and replenish all required bar supplies before during and after service periods reporting any shortages to the manager, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire bar service area including counters shelves refrigerators and storage areas, provide support to other team members as required to ensure smooth and efficient overall operations, maintain positive working relationships with all team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment, meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
