Job Requirements
- must meet the minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages as per local regulations
- be approachable and able to maintain a friendly and courteous manner, even during busy periods
- be available to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and/or weekends, as required
- thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- be able to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- be able to lift and carry items such as beverage cases, ice containers, and bus tubs, weighing up to 30 pounds
- move efficiently within the bar service area and stand for extended periods of time
- be able to walk or stand for the entire duration of their scheduled shift
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to multitask and anticipate the needs of the bartenders
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- play a key role in facilitating excellent drink service that complements our food and entertainment, contributing to a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests
- keep the bartender and immediate supervisor informed of any low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, taking immediate action or suggesting solutions
- provide efficient assistance by promptly replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and ensuring ice levels are maintained, helping to reduce wait times for guests
- maintain a positive and helpful attitude while supporting the bartenders and anticipating their needs during peak service times
- assist with guest inquiries by communicating information to the bartender and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained and organized for a positive guest interaction
- support the bartender by quickly and efficiently retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- ensure that empty drinkware is collected and the bar area remains organized and presentable throughout service
