Job Requirements
- Be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous manner
- Be available to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- Be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Move efficiently within the bar area and stand for extended periods
- Walk or stand for the entire duration of scheduled shifts
- Frequently reach, bend, stoop, lift, and wipe down surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bar service or hospitality role is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- Positive attitude and proactive work ethic
Job Duties
- Play a key role in facilitating excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment
- Keep the bartender and supervisor informed of low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions
- Provide efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining ice levels
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude supporting bartenders during peak service times
- Assist with guest inquiries by communicating information to bartenders and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained
- Support bartenders by retrieving ingredients, glassware, and other necessary items
- Ensure empty drinkware is collected and the bar area remains organized and presentable
- Alert bartender or manager to any guest issues observed at the bar
- Adhere to company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations
- Stock and organize all bar-related inventory in designated storage locations
- Assist with periodic inventory counts of bar stock
- Check and replenish bar supplies before, during, and after service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar service area
- Provide support to other team members to ensure smooth overall operations
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Meet minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages
