Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Willingness to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation or willingness to learn
- Ability to stand and move for long periods
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow sanitation and alcohol service policies
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables and other sections as needed
- Assist in clearing away dishes and glassware and refilling beverages as needed
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Restock and prepare supplies for shift change and/or close
- Check back after delivery of drinks and respond to guest needs in a timely manner
- Maintain thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- Work quickly and efficiently adhering to “full hands in, full hands out” philosophy
- Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- Keep station clean and set up and take down station tables appropriately
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Read and communicate in English
- Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs and communicate effectively with guests and other team members
- Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- Must be at least 18 years of age
