Job Qualifications
- must be able to read and communicate in English
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- maintain a thorough understanding of menu items
- follow company's sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- ability to assist and work cooperatively with team members
- detail-oriented with strong guest service skills
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables and other sections as needed
- follow tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure drinks are delivered timely and correctly
- assist in clearing away dishes and glassware and refilling beverages as needed
- assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed
- restock and prepare supplies for shift changes or closing
- check back after delivery of drinks and respond to guest needs in a timely manner
- assist with greeting newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- maintain favorable working relationship with all other team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- read and communicate in English
- listen to hear guests' orders and needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members
- maintain proper dress code and appearance
- must be at least 18 years of age
