Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to read and communicate in English
- skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm
- thorough understanding of menu items and able to answer questions regarding food and drink preparation
- able to adhere to company sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
- able to work efficiently in a fast paced, noisy environment
- able to maintain cooperative relationships with team members
- capable of multitasking and providing timely guest service
- commitment to upholding company dress code
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to tables and other sections as needed
- assist in clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages
- assist in bussing and resetting tables, restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- check back after delivery of drinks and respond to guest needs in a timely manner
- maintain thorough understanding of menu items and answer guest questions about food and drink preparation
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- keep station clean and set up/take down station tables appropriately
- maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- listen to guests orders and needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members
- always dress in proper dress code, looking neat, clean and professional
- must be at least 18 years of age
