Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of alcohol service and safety procedures an advantage
- Customer service oriented mindset
- Basic math skills for order handling
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization at service stations
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and notify a manager when necessary
- Make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and delivered timely
- Follow tray procedures to minimize loss
- Assist in clearing dishes and glassware and refill beverages as needed
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables
- Restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- Check back after delivering drinks to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to guest needs
- Greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and answer questions
- Work efficiently adhering to full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- Assist other team members as needed
- Keep station clean and set up or take down station tables
- Assist in party set up and breakdown
- Maintain cooperative and harmonious relationships with team members to promote high morale and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Read and communicate in English
- Listen carefully to guest orders and communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Dress in proper dress code, neat, clean and professional at all times
- Be at least 18 years of age
