Job Duties
- As a vital part of our service team, the Drink Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive their beverage orders swiftly and accurately
- You'll be a key link between the bar and our guests, contributing directly to their overall enjoyment and a seamless dining and entertainment experience
- Contributes to an exceptional guest experience by efficiently delivering a wide array of beverages, complementing our delicious food and exciting games, all within an atmosphere geared towards maximum fun
- Keeps the supervising bartender or manager promptly informed of any issues, delays, or special requests related to drink orders, and proactively seeks solutions or suggests alternative actions
- Ensures the timely and correct delivery of drinks to guest tables, managing multiple orders simultaneously and communicating any potential delays to guests or service staff as needed
- Approaches drink delivery with a friendly and energetic demeanor, maintaining a positive attitude even during busy periods
- Smiles and acknowledges guests upon arrival at their table
- Assists guests with any immediate drink-related needs or questions upon delivery and can direct them to the appropriate server or bartender for further assistance or recommendations
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, ensuring efficient movement between the bar and guest tables
- Bids farewell to guests upon drink delivery, ensuring their satisfaction with their beverages and inviting them to enjoy the rest of their Dave & Buster's experience
- Alerts the bartender or manager to any guest who appears dissatisfied with their drinks or the service
- Practices responsible beverage service and adheres to all company policies and legal regulations regarding alcohol handling
- Assists with stocking and organizing bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- May assist in the preparation of garnishes or ensuring the bar area is well-maintained
- Checks for and replenishes necessary glassware and other drink-related supplies in service areas
- Communicates any shortages to the bartender or manager
- Maintains the cleanliness of delivery trays and ensures a professional presentation of all beverages
- Collaborates with other team members, including servers and bartenders, to ensure efficient and seamless service
- Fosters a positive and cooperative working environment with all Dave & Buster's team members, contributing to high morale and overall team efficiency
- Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages as per local regulations

- While performing the duties of this role, the Drink Runner will frequently be required to:
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, smiling frequently
- Be available to work various shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends, as business needs require
- Thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with a moderate to high noise level and potential distractions
- Be able to read and understand drink orders and communicate effectively with the bar staff and servers
- Lift and carry trays of drinks weighing up to 30 pounds safely and efficiently
- Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods while delivering beverages
- Spend the majority of the shift walking or standing while transporting drinks
- Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe down surfaces as needed to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
