Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk or stand 100% of shift
- Must be able to reach, bend and stoop frequently
- Must be willing to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Skilled in effectively communicating with guests
- Able to listen and understand guests’ orders and needs
- Knowledge of sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures is preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or customer service role is an advantage
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Capable of standing and walking for the entire shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Able to maintain a clean and organized work station
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- Ensure all drinks are properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables, as well as other sections in the restaurant, as needed
- Assist in clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages as needed
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Restock and prepare supplies for shift change and/or close
- Assist in ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of drinks and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- Work quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy
- Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
- Effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Read and communicate in English
- Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs, and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members
- Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- Must be at least 18 years of age
