Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of related baking experience required
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate baking skills
  • Knowledge of scaling mixing proofing and baking breads and other baked goods
  • Must achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to maintain discretion handling confidential information
  • Professional interaction with guests and team members
  • Must work irregular hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform demanding kitchen activities including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • The ability to demonstrate intermediate baking skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of related experience required
  • Experience with or knowledge of scaling mixing proofing and baking of breads and other baked goods
  • Ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certifications within 90 days
  • Basic math skills including adding subtracting multiplying dividing and counting using whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights early mornings weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to talk hear stand sit walk climb balance stoop kneel crouch and move freely for prolonged periods in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift carry push pull or move objects up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
  • Specific vision abilities including close distance color peripheral depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties

  • Perform intermediate pastry and baking duties including measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes to make specialty desserts pastries and baked goods
  • Use and clean kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils safely including ovens mixers and knives
  • Maintain a safe sanitary and organized working environment working closely with stewards at all times
  • Learn to perform more advanced pastry duties and assist other members of the culinary team
  • Assist in storing and rotating all inventories as needed
  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls policies procedures and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
