Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous catering sales experience preferred
- Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage desired
- Valid driver's license for applicable state
- Developed verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with professional selling skills
- Proficiency in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organization and presentation skills

Job Duties
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals
- Proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Social, Corporate, Business, or SMERF segments as applicable
- Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups
- Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality's established regulations, company standards, catering/meeting standards, and related catering sales metrics
- Develop a full working knowledge of hotel operations and policies
- Ensure that the Daily Event List, Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet, and Ten Day Event Schedule are accurate and timely
- Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations
- Assist in implementing or participating in special promotions related to direct sales segments
- Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and other management-required functions
- Perform duties as requested by General Manager or Director of Sales
