Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • minimum of 5 years culinary experience or at least 1 year with a culinary degree
  • food handlers certification compliant with State requirements
  • prior supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • at least 5 years of progressive culinary experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • food handlers certification required
  • able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
  • strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions

Job Duties

  • Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring every dish meets high standards of quality, portioning, and presentation
  • lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and consistently deliver high-quality food and service
