Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification compliant with state regulations
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
  • Proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events ensuring all details match Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain standards in appearance, service, and safety while enforcing policy and liquor laws
  • Rally the team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event huddles, and train new recruits
  • Liaise between sales, catering, and guests to resolve problems and handle complaints
  • Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, and oversee beverage service while handling checks, paperwork, and cash
  • Assist with audio/visual setups, attend meetings, assist in various tasks, manage lost and found, and maintain security
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism at all times
