Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Possess current American Red Cross Certifications in Lifeguard and First Aid
  • Possess current American Red Cross Certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Possess current American Red Cross Certification in AED and Oxygen Administration
  • Ability to work in warm, humid environments and be immersed in water for extended periods
  • Willingness to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supervising employees
  • Current American Red Cross Certifications in Lifeguard and First Aid
  • Current American Red Cross Certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Current American Red Cross Certification in AED and Oxygen Administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent people management skills including conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management

Job Duties

  • Lead the management team in their areas of focus as needed
  • Encourage career advancement for team members
  • Maintain an efficient and cooperative atmosphere among team members
  • Develop, implement, and monitor water park operation schedules
  • Recruit, hire, train, and maintain team members with coordination with Human Resources
  • Anticipate turnover to maintain proper staffing levels
  • Create and initiate team member incentive programs
  • Enforce safety, emergency, and operational procedures
  • Administer and coordinate emergency first aid and document incidents
  • Motivate team members to achieve extraordinary goals and manage performance
  • Instruct Red Cross Lifeguard training and assist with in-service trainings
