Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- must have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- valid driver’s license
- social security number (only in the US)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- ability to activate and use the DoorDash Red Card
- legally eligible to work in the applicable region
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in shopping, delivery, or customer service is a plus
- basic smartphone proficiency
- ability to follow delivery guidelines and instructions
- good communication skills
- familiarity with local store locations and products advantageous
Job Duties
- shop for grocery items and other goods according to customer orders
- deliver groceries, convenience items, retail products, and alcohol to customers
- manage delivery timing efficiently to maximize earnings
- use the DoorDash Red Card to pay for ordered items
- communicate effectively with customers and DoorDash support
- maintain knowledge of local stores and product availability
- ensure a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction
