Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver's license number
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to activate and use the DoorDash Red Card for purchases
- Compliance with local regulations and age restrictions for alcohol delivery
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps and navigation tools
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and DoorDash support
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Physical ability to lift and transport groceries and retail items
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service is advantageous but not required
Job Duties
- Shop for items at grocery stores and retail locations as requested
- Deliver orders promptly to customers' homes or designated drop-off points
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and manage delivery tasks
- Handle the Red Card prepaid payment method for Dashers when purchasing items
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating status updates and resolving order issues
- Manage routes efficiently to maximize earnings during shifts
- Comply with all safety and hygiene standards during shopping and delivery
