Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number if using a motor vehicle
- Have a social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Ability to shop and deliver orders independently
- Meet state-specific age requirements for alcohol delivery
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with the local area and good navigation skills
- Reliable means of transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Basic smartphone proficiency to operate the DoorDash app
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry shopping bags and packages
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries, convenience items, retail products, alcohol, and other goods
- Deliver orders promptly and efficiently to customers
- Utilize the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage orders
- Activate and use the prepaid Red Card for purchasing items
- Maintain communication with customers and support teams as needed
- Adhere to all safety and delivery guidelines
- Manage time effectively to optimize earnings
